The green graphite nanofibres and multiwalled nanotubes, produced at our demo plant located at the Platinum Hi-tech Biopark are light
in weight, stronger than steel and has excellent properties for thermal and electrical conductivity.
Our nanofibres feature single crystal graphite characteristics imparting high surface area for rapid kinetics and high degree of crystallinity for higher conductivity. Our hexagonal shape multiwalled nanotubes with aligned end edges feature provides easy dispersion in non-aqueous media such as plastics and enables high performance with low doping.
The superior quality graphite nanofibres and multiwalled nanotubes have numerous applications as advanced, high performance solution materials and are produced using our advanced zero waste methane cracking catalytic process technology.
Our demo plant will be commercially scaled up at the current site to 200 tonnes per annum in 2011 for the production of graphite nanofibres and multiwalled nanotubes from methane generated and captured from palm oil mill effluent, capturing the added benefits of materials made from renewable sources and delivering environmental value in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
